The quality and exceptional taste of Din Tai Fung’s xiao long baos have attracted many customers. To remain competitive in a crowded space, Din Tai Fung needed to continually update its social media presence that is fun, engaging, and aligned with the high standards of their food.

Our social media strategy for Din Tai Fung Singapore was to create a themed grid published monthly. Showcasing selected items from the menu as well as communicating the brand’s service ethos, the content ranged from original food photography and styling, to artwork design using client’s existing assets, to food videography with editing.

Each month, our creative team presented conceptual ideas and created a content calendar with proposed theme, making sure that our content aligned with our client’s in-house marketing plan. Once the concept and schedule were approved, we proceeded to style and photograph the food items directly in the client’s premises.

We embraced our creative DNA and not only did we showcase Din Tai Fung’s scrumptious food through mouthwatering images, we also utilized various videography techniques to give our social posts an extra dimension.

All the content we crafted were designed to encourage audience interaction and boost engagement. From quizzes, simple games, to giveaways, every social post was carefully designed. The captions for every post took on the preferred brand tone of approachability through the use of emojis and smart puns. 

In addition to social listening and managing inquiries received from the client’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, we also prepared a monthly report that included performance analysis, competitor analysis, and tactical recommendations for the following month.
